The final adjustments are being made. We now have 4 new light towers installed. Cannot wait until we can 'Flick the switch' !!
Below are some photos of the Coburg track upgrades, just after the application of the final rubberised surface to the javelin and long jump areas and then the final product..........will be terrific to start using this summer!

Round 1 of cross country kicked off on Saturday May 2 at Essendon. There was a strong turnout, particularly among the younger age groups, with the weather being kind to us. Congratulations to all of our runners for their determined efforts. Please remember all athletes need to wear their registration tags every week.

Congratulations and well done to all involved behind the scenes in getting our Coburg Championships up and running at the Essendon venue. A great weekend was had by all, the weather was perfect and competition was fierce with many PB's had in the fine conditions.
Congratulations too to our Coburg centre award winners across all categories, with our champion athlete awards going to Jimmy Manias and Ashley D'Augello and presented by the Federal Member for Wills, Kelvin Thomson - thanks Kelvin!
Finally a special mention of the presentation of Life Membership of CLAC to Nick Tsiaras, Krysten Panozzo and Peter 'Poppy' Blight, a fitting award in recognition of many years of dedicated and selfless service. The presentation of these honours was very moving to both the recipients and our gathered CLAC community.
