Our club is an Affiliated member club of the Coburg Little Athletics Centre (Centre No. 5 in the State of Victoria). We generally compete on a weekly basis at the Harold Stevens track, just behind the basketball centre.

 

Sometimes there are other events on such as Region Relays, Multi-event or Track & Field which may take precendence over weekly competition at our home venue. Of course, if athletes qualify at Region events, they may have the opportunity to compete at State level and represent the Coburg Centre.

 

New athletes can trial for 2 consecutive weeks during the summer season (Sept/Oct-March) to see if they like the sport or attend the orientation day for new athletes which is usually held in September each season.

 

Membership also includes participation in the winter cross country competition which runs from May to August each year.

 

Athletics is a lot of fun for both parents and athletes as you get to meet new people, try the different events and improve on your personal bests (PBs) each week.
